Meet Konstantinos

Konstantinos Vogiatzis is a certified public accountant running to bring common sense and accountability back to Congress.

Raised by hardworking parents who built a better life through faith and perseverance, Konstantinos learned early that leadership means responsibility — not rhetoric.

After auditing and advising Gulf Coast energy and Fortune 500 companies and seeing how Washington’s decisions affect local jobs and family budgets, he’s running to make government work for the people who power Texas.

Texas’ 14th Congressional District stretches across the Gulf Coast, from Pearland and Lake Jackson to Bay City, Freeport, and Port Arthur. It is one of Texas’s most important economic regions, home to refineries, ports, and the working families who keep the state running. After the Legislature redrew the district in 2025, TX-14 became larger, more diverse, and more economically complex — making the need for strong, accountable leadership greater than ever. Konstantinos is running to ensure the people who power this region finally receive the attention and results they deserve.

About Texas 14

On The Issues

Konstantinos approaches every issue the way he approaches his work as a CPA — by following the facts, cutting the waste, and fighting for the people who actually do the hard work. The truth is that every issue — from lowering costs to fixing healthcare — depends on cleaning up the system that keeps those problems alive. Until Washington is held accountable, nothing else can truly work.

His priorities reflect the needs of TX-14: lowering costs, protecting jobs, strengthening the Gulf Coast economy, and restoring accountability in Washington.

  • Families across TX-14 are working harder than ever, but groceries, gas, housing, and insurance keep getting more expensive. As a CPA who’s audited major Gulf Coast energy and Fortune 500 companies and advised businesses that power the region, Konstantinos understands how decisions in Washington show up in family budgets.

He believes government should lower costs, not add to them. That means protecting middle-class families, eliminating wasteful spending, and supporting the industries that keep Texas strong.

    Priorities

    • Lower everyday costs by addressing the root causes of inflation.

    • Protect middle-class taxpayers through fiscal responsibility and smarter budgeting.

    • Strengthen local job growth in energy, manufacturing, ports, and small businesses.

    • Fix the broken insurance market to reduce skyrocketing property and flood insurance rates.

  • Health care costs are skyrocketing — and families in TX-14 are feeling it in every premium, copay, and bill.

Thanks to the Republican “big beautiful bill,” it will only get worse. Hardworking Texans shouldn’t have to choose between medical care and financial stability. Konstantinos believes in strengthening access to local doctors and hospitals, lowering premiums through transparency and competition, and ensuring taxpayer dollars go toward patient care — not corporate profit.

    Priorities

    • Lower premiums and reduce out-of-pocket costs.

    • Increase price transparency to hold insurance companies accountable.

    • Expand access to care in rural and underserved areas.

    • Fight surprise billing and insurance loopholes that burden families.

    • Make sure health care dollars go to patients, not bureaucracy or insurance company profits.

  • TX-14 is the backbone of America’s energy economy — home to refineries, petrochemical plants, port workers, and manufacturers who keep the country running. But aging infrastructure, rising flood risks, and delayed federal investments threaten the region’s future.

Konstantinos’s experience auditing major energy companies gives him a deep understanding of the industry’s needs and opportunities.

    Priorities

    • Protect and strengthen energy-sector jobs critical to the district’s economy.

    • Encourage innovation and new technology to keep Texas competitive long-term.

    • Secure federal investment in flood control and coastal protection.

    • Modernize ports, transportation networks, and the electric grid.

  • Strong schools are the foundation of opportunity. But teachers are stretched thin, parents feel unheard, and students need more pathways to good jobs.

Konstantinos believes in investing in public schools, supporting teachers, and ensuring local voices guide education — not political agendas.

    Priorities

    • Keep public dollars in public schools.

    • Raise teacher pay and strengthen teacher retention.

    • Expand career and technical education linked to local workforce needs.

    • Protect parental involvement and local control over education decisions.

  • Every family deserves to feel safe in their home and community. Konstantinos believes in supporting local law enforcement, strengthening community trust, and passing responsible safety measures that stop criminals — not burden lawful gun owners.

TX-14 has experienced firsthand the consequences of violent tragedy, and families deserve leaders who take safety seriously.

    Priorities

    • Keep guns out of dangerous hands with strong background checks and enforcement.

    • Support well-trained law enforcement with resources and community-focused policing.

    • Invest in mental health and violence prevention programs.

    • Strengthen partnerships between officers and the communities they serve.

  • TX-14 is home to thousands of veterans who served their country with honor — yet too many struggle to access timely care, navigate confusing benefits systems, or find the support they need transitioning to civilian life. Konstantinos believes a grateful nation should remove barriers, not create them. He will work to strengthen the VA, improve mental health access, and support workforce programs that help veterans build their futures.

    Priorities

    • Reduce VA wait times and expand appointment availability.

    • Improve mental health care and crisis services for veterans.

    • Strengthen job training and transition programs.

    • Cut bureaucratic red tape in the benefits system.

    • Ensure veterans can access care close to home.

  • Washington is broken because too many politicians put themselves first. Members of Congress trade stocks on insider information, special interests shape policy behind closed doors, and federal agencies waste taxpayer dollars with no real accountability.

As a CPA, Konstantinos served as a watchdog for taxpayers, holding powerful institutions accountable — and that’s exactly what he’ll do in Congress.

    Priorities

    • Ban insider trading by members of Congress.

    • Crack down on waste, fraud, and abuse in federal programs.

    • Strengthen ethics rules and close loopholes that let politicians profit from office.

    • Make federal spending transparent and accessible so taxpayers can follow where their money goes.

    • Hold both parties accountable when they put politics ahead of the people.
